FAQs

  • What is PMES?
The Profile Management EcoSystem (PMES) is part of the PUT cryptocurrency economy and is the best blockchain solution for data trading.  Via blockchain, users control ownership of and monetize their digital assets such as ebooks, software, password keys, cryptocurrency tokens listed on stock exchanges, social media profile data, video or other content training programs, photographs, databases, images, graphic design, marketing swipe files, and much more.

    PMES
is an intermediary site offering a user-friendly interface to easily create a library of digital assets that are added to the blockchain with just one click. PMES users can sell their assets to other users based on the price they set as well as buy assets from other PMES users. Purchases are made in the PMES digital wallet using PUT (Profile Management Utility Token) and QTUM. Ethereum (ETH) coming soon.  Currently the file size upload is limited to 10MB.

  • What is the advantages of putting my data/digital assets on the blockchain?
Unlike commercial third-party services, the blockchain is completely independent and anonymous therefore you have complete control over your data. Robin8 merely facilitates your access to the blockchain and making access to the blockchain easy, but we have no control over your data.
  • How long can I keep my information on blockchain?
Forever. Blockchain is an non-removeable, public network.
  • How do I get a digital wallet and use cryptocurrency?
We have a free Crypto Beginner’s Guide here.
  • Do I get IP and copyright protection when my data is on the blockchain?
IP and copyright are legal concepts; however, by putting you data on blockchain you have immutable proof on the time and the data of the content upload. Certain jurisdictions recognize your blockchain stamp as proof of ownership.
  • Can I stay anonymous when adding data / digital assets to the blockchain?
You may stay anonymous forever or you may reveal yourself. It’s a concept known as zero-knowledge proof. This is a very powerful capability as it gives you 100% trust without revealing your identity on the blockchain.
  • What can I upload to the blockchain on the PMES?
You can sell virtually anything that is digital data such as e-books, software, password keys, cryptocurrency tokens listed on stock exchanges, social media profile data, video or other content training programs, photographs, databases, images, graphic design, smart contracts, marketing swipe files, and much more.

The module size for the Robin8 PMES is 10MB per information profile. We are looking at future versions that will handle even more significant data per information profile.

  • What is the cost to use the PMES?
It’s free to register and try PMES on the testnet. It’s $5 to upload an information profile to the block See the pricing here.
  • Can I remove my data on the blockchain?
No, once you upload your information profile to the blockchain,  it is there forever and cannot be edited. This is what gives blockchain 100% trust. Many people call blockchain the internet of authenticity.

We recommend you try PMES on the testnet before moving to the mainnet. The testnet is completely free to learn PMES.

With this said, your information is kept private and accessible by a private key when you sell someone rights or read access. The data owner has the choice to reveal as little or as much information as you want. For example, there is a title and description fields that can be public and seen by PMES users in the market (which is beneficial so you can attract more buyers if they understand what you are offering), but you choose if you want to show even this info. Your digital asset or data that you are selling is kept private until someone buys it.

  • Am I dependent on Robin8 to get access and manage my data on the blockchain?
No, the blockchain is independent, but Robin8 provides you with the key tools to manage your data on the blockchain with an easy-to-use interface.
  • Can I put my data on QTUM Blockchain?
At the moment we offer both QTUM and Ethereum to upload your data; when uploading your data profile in PMES you choose which one you prefer. Other blockchains will be added in the future.
  • What does PUT stand for and what is it?
The Profile Utility Token (PUT) is built on the Qtum protocol, and is a unit of exchange in a new Blockchain based digital profiling system. Personal profile usage is anonymously monitored in the Robin8 App and consumers and publishers are incentivized accordingly with PUTs. Consumers also get a share of PUTs for participating.
  • What do PUTs represent?

PUTs are tokens intended to be used solely on the Robin8 Platform, which is a new Blockchain and profile-based social advertising platform.

  • Are PUTs transferable?

Yes, PUT is freely tradeable on listed exchanges or privately.

  • What payment methods do you accept?
